Nokia 700 Review

The new Nokia 700 is a phone announced yesterday by Nokia. The Nokia 700 works on the latest operating system to be launched by Nokia- Symbian Belle. Nokia 500 was also very recently announced and the phone worked on Symbian Anna but this one and the few more phones like the new Nokia 600 and the Nokia 701 are also based on the new Symbian Belle platform. Symbian was always Nokia’s preferred choice for operating system and they had earlier announced that they were going to use the same platform for quite some time and also said that they were planning many phones based on the same. Well, it seems that they have kept their promise by announcing three Nokia smartphones on the same day.

The new Nokia 700 also known as Nokia Zeta has a 3.2 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that has pixel resolution of 360×640. The phone looks amazing and is touted to be the world’s smallest smartphone ever. It is very true that is also very slim and sleek. This doesn’t mean that it compromises on the features it packs. Nokia 700’s touchscreen display promises supreme image clarity and the light sensors equipped on this phone automatically adjust according to the lighting in the surrounding to make the screen visible. Nokia 700 is powered by a 1 GHz single core ARM 11 processor and as I already said it works on the new Symbian Belle. The phone boasts of 512 MB RAM and 1 GB of ROM. Memory is abundant for this phone as you have the freedom to store up to 2 GB of all that you need on the internal memory. You can expand the memory up to 32 GB using microSD cards.

The Nokia 700 smartphone has a very smart and efficient camera as well. The 5 MP rear camera can take superb images and record videos at 720p HD at 30 fps. For the features this phone provide you everyone would think that this phone would consume a lot of battery but it is not so as this phone has a very good battery life of 8 hours of talk time and good music playback time and for video recording as well.

Apple India

Apple India fans, are you listening? This is a good time for you all. The company launched the iPad 2 in India, just weeks after it became available in the US.
And same possibility goes for iPhone 4. Unlike the previous iPhone models were operator tied BGR says Apple will possibly launch “factory unlocked” iPhone 4 in India. Well that means the SIM card of any cellular network should work with the new iPhone and not just Vodafone and Airtel.
The iMac range has been upgraded with Quad core i5 processors and now they are less expensive as in last 2-3 weeks Apple has silently dropped the prices of their MAC desktops by 15%.
However for Apple India prices of MacBook range of notebooks remain the same.
